How to maintain your Laminate flooring
Laminate can get scratched so it is important to have doormats and furniture pads to help avoid that. Prevent is key when it comes to looking after your laminate flooring and keeping it looking in tip top shape. Liquids and moisture is wood/laminates worst nightmare! So make sure to quickly clean up any spills as they can seep into the joints and effect the actual planks. If you do end up damaging your flooring, don’t despair you can also try to repair them. You can buy repair kits online that can colour match against what you already have. If the damage can’t be repaired, you can always buy some extra panels. Then clip out the damaged ones and replace them with the new ones.
When it comes to cleaning your laminate flooring, we would suggest sweeping regularly. This would help getting rid of that build up of dirt that could contribute to the flooring getting marked. Also, if you’re planning on mopping your laminate flooring, make sure the mop is only slightly damp. You don’t want any water lingering and damaging the planks.
